Member Spotlight - Jane Merriman
If you don't know Jane, then you haven't been at the Florence Y much. Just as she'd say, she's that "old, white-haired woman who walks all over the building". Jane Merriman and her husband Ken, have been members of the Y here in Florence since 2004. She enjoys getting her steps in daily (at least 10,000 a day!) by using the treadmill as well as walking outside and through the building. She also has fun seeing and talking with other members and Y staff as well as watching the kids enjoy the pool! She loves the Y because it helps keep her fit and she loves to meet new friends. Her advice for anyone new to the Y is to try all of the activities and get to know the staff, as they are very helpful. Thank you Jane for being a great Y member!
