Labor Day
**  In observance of Labor Day, the Y will be closed September 6th.  **

The Partners Youth Golf Classic

 j0433121The Florence Family YMCA will host the Partners with Youth Golf Classic Friday, September 24, 2010. This Four Man Captains Choice will be held at Crossings Golf Club with tee time at Noon. Registration deadline is Tuesday, September 21st. For more information, contact Brian New or Mike Wightman at 665-1234. 

All proceeds benefit the Partners with Youth and Family Scholarship Campaign which provides financial assistance to those who cannot afford to pay the full program fees. For Sponsorship opportunities please call the Florence Family YMCA.

Fall Swim Lessons

We are now registering for swimming%20lesson Fall/Winter Swim Lessons.  We have Weekday, Friday and Saturday classes available, as well as private lessons. Please register at least one week in advance.  Classes with low enrollment will be cancelled one week before the start date. Register at the front desk.

Youth Flag Football

footballThe YMCA youth football league will focus on football fundamentals, rules, sportsmanship and most importantly, having fun!  Our program will enhance each child's football skills as well as teach them our four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.  

Ages: 5-14 

Registration:  August 26- September 17

Late Registration:
Sept. 18 - Sept. 20
*a $20 late fee will be added*

Cost:  Members -  $35   Participants -  $45
 
Season: October 5 - November 13

Welcome to the Y.

new%20Y%20logoThe YMCA unveiled a new, more forward-looking logo that reflects the vibrancy and diversity of the organization, and a framework that focuses resources on three core areas: youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.  In another major change, the nonprofit will be called “the Y” to align with how people most commonly refer to the organization.

Our mission remains the same – to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. We are changing how we talk about ourselves so that people better understand the benefits of engaging with the Y.
