YMCA Swim Lessons begin with the development of basic swimming skills as well as gaining confidence and ease in the water. From there, swimmers refine the strokes they have learned and progress their skills. The lessons also include character development, family involvement and safety education components. There are three phases, beginning with Swim Starters (children 6-36 months), then Swim Basics followed by Swim Strokes.

A fun experience for children ages 6 to 16 who love to swim and want to become better at the sport.  Children will have a great time building endurance and swim skills while also spending time with their team mates.

The world is 71% water.  Your children are 100% curious. “Safety Around Water” is for children ages 5 to 14 who do not know how to swim and have not participated in swim lessons before. This session of 6 lessons consisting of water safety and basic swim instruction, including a t-shirt, only costs $5 per child!

A water experience camp for good swimmers who are interested in increasing their aquatic sports knowledge!  Participants will learn and experience a new water sport or skill each day, such as SCUBA and snorkeling, water polo, Jr. lifeguard skills, kayaking, safe boating and springboard diving.

Kids ages 6 to 13 who swim well will learn basic synchronized swimming skills and perform a routine at the end of the week.
