The Florence Family YMCA Child Development Center offers an outstanding developmental curriculum that helps prepare your 3 or 4 year old child for the primary grades-all within a personalized, private and nurturing environment . Registration for the 2017-2018 school year is from 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday.


Hours: 7 AM - 6 PM Monday-Friday

Fees: Fees are $89.00/week members + $30.00/registration fee (effective 1/1/16)
Fees are $110.00/week participants + $30.00/registration fee (effective 1/1/16)
*** In order to receive the member discount, you must have a family membership. ***

The registration fee and first week are due at the time of registration. We do not accept cash. Please bring check, money order, credit card, or debit card along with your completed registration forms.  Please do not fax registration forms.

The Curriculum focuses specifically on:

  • Social Studies 
  • Dramatic Play 
  • Creative Arts 
  • Physical health and movement 
  • Social skills enhancement 
  • Emotional Development 

In addition to solid academic preparation, the YMCA Child Development Center also offers a controlled class size. Class Size is limited so your child will receive more one on one attention and positive guidance. Morning and Afternoon Snack is provided. Hot lunch is in accordance to child nutrition guidelines and served daily. All children must be potty-trained.


***We will also be offering a half day PM session for 4K children this school year. Children may ride the bus if they are dismissed at 2:10pm. Fees will be the same as our after-school fees. If you have any questions please contact us at 843-665-1234.***
